If the letter was sent within the allotted period, then great news because the money will all be refunded back. But if it was over than the period then consequence shall be accepted that no possible way to have a direct refund. But there could be still one hope to get the money back.

Basically, the only way to be able to get out of the contract once the cancellation period is over is to sell the timeshare. That way, the original buyer would get the amount that was used to buy it in the first place. In addition, the right that has been acquired during the purchase will automatically be revoked.

But, the entire would not be easy as it may seem. Instances would be a lawsuit shall be done and it would be determined whether everything is under the law and legal. Basically, there are so many stages first and checking it out and consulting a lawyer would make it somehow easier.

So right now, if a plan to buy a timeshare is running in circles through mind then make sure to remember few things. Read the entire contract and understand what are under the terms and the conditions. Do this right before affixing any signature on the documents just so one is aware of the law and the rules it comes hand in hand with.
